Delete your account

Last updated: 26 August 2026

You can delete your Laenso account at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

Email support@laenso.com from the email address on your account, or send us the mobile number registered to it, with the subject “Delete my account”.

We will verify it is really you before deleting anything — usually by sending a one-time code to your registered mobile number. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email address, mobile number, photo, language preference.
  • Your saved addresses and map locations.
  • Your service requests, including the photos attached to them.
  • Quotes you sent or received.
  • Your chat messages and any images sent in chat.
  • Your device push tokens, so notifications stop immediately.
  • For providers: your business profile, service selections, service area, and your uploaded identity and trade documents.

What we keep, and why

What Why For how long
Transaction and invoice records Required by Indian tax and accounting law 8 years
Verification records for providers Required to show we checked credentials before allowing work 3 years after account closure
Records subject to an active legal claim or investigation We are not permitted to delete these Until it concludes
Anonymised, aggregated statistics Cannot be linked back to you Indefinitely

Anything retained is separated from your identity where the law allows it.

Before you delete

  • You cannot undo this. A new account starts from nothing.
  • Finish or cancel any active job first. Deleting your account does not cancel an agreement you have made with a provider or a customer.
  • If you are a provider, your quotes are withdrawn and customers waiting on you are notified.

Removing a pre-registration

If you only signed up on this website and never installed the app, email support@laenso.com with the mobile number you registered and we will remove it. No verification code is needed, because there is no account to protect.
