Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 August 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Gourhit Ventures Private Limited, 808B, DLF Prime Tower, Pocket F, Okhla Phase I, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Delhi 110020, India (“Laenso”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Laenso app or website, you accept them.
1. What Laenso is — and is not
Laenso is a marketplace. We introduce customers who need local work done to independent providers who do that work.
We are not the provider. We do not employ providers, do not supervise their work, do not set their prices, and are not a party to the agreement you reach with them. The contract for any job is between the customer and the provider directly.
2. Who may use Laenso
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. One account per person.
3. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your phone number and login details secure. Tell us immediately if you think someone else is using your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts other users at risk.
4. Requests and quotes
- A request you post is shared with providers near you who offer that kind of work. Until you accept a quote, they see only your approximate area.
- A quote is the provider’s offer of a price. Accepting a quote forms an agreement between you and that provider, not with Laenso.
- Accepting one quote automatically declines the others on that request.
- A provider may withdraw a quote before you accept it.
- Prices are what the provider states. Extra work agreed on site is between the two of you.
5. Completing a job
Completion is a two-step confirmation: the provider marks the work done, and the customer confirms it. Do not confirm work that has not been done.
6. Payment
Payment is currently made directly between customer and provider. Laenso does not process, hold or guarantee any payment, and takes no commission on it at this time. If we introduce in-app payments we will update these terms and tell you before they apply to you.
7. Provider verification — and its limits
Before a provider may quote, we check a government photo ID, and for trades that legally require it we also check the relevant credential (for example an FSSAI licence for food, a driving licence and vehicle registration for transport).
This is a documentary check, not a guarantee. We do not warrant the quality, safety, timeliness or legality of any provider’s work. Use your own judgement: read the quotes, talk to the provider in the app before you agree, and do not let anyone into your home you are not comfortable with.
8. What you must not do
- Post false, misleading, unlawful or offensive content.
- Ask for or offer anything illegal.
- Take the transaction off-platform to avoid our rules, or use another user’s contact details for anything other than the job they relate to.
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or attempt to break the service.
- Impersonate anyone, or use someone else’s documents to get verified.
9. Content you post
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us a licence to host and display them for the purpose of running the service — for example showing your job photo to providers who may quote for it. You confirm you have the right to post what you post.
We may remove content that breaks these terms.
10. Calls and messaging
The app provides voice, video and chat so the two parties can discuss a job before committing. Calls are peer-to-peer and are not recorded. Messages are stored so both parties keep the record. Do not use these features to harass anyone.
11. Availability
We try to keep Laenso running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Realtime features depend on your network and may be delayed or unavailable.
12. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law:
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship or conduct of any provider or customer.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.
- Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability to you is limited to ₹5,000, or the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, whichever is greater. Laenso currently charges no fees, so in practice this limit is ₹5,000.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your dealings with another user.
14. Disputes between users
A dispute about a job is between the customer and the provider. We may, at our discretion, help by providing records of what happened in the app, but we are not an arbitrator and are not obliged to intervene.
15. Closing your account
You may delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. Some records are retained where law requires; the Privacy Policy says which and for how long.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Laenso after that means you accept them.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi, Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
